For one of the premier international schools in Tokyo to be easy to reach for everyone

Note about new bus routes: upon sufficient enrollment of students from a specific area in Tokyo (for example Toyosu, Harumi, Urayasu, Kachidoki, Shinagawa, Minato etc.), a new bus route can be immediately set up in order to have students reach Kita-ku campus in less than an hour through the highway.

Group registrations of families are highly encouraged! 

Connected areas: Oji Kamiya, Oji, Komagome, Rikugien, Sugamo, Itabashi

Monday to Friday: 7:00 to 18:00 in Kita-ku, Itabashi-ku and Toshima-ku.


Morning loop: 7:00 to 8:30

PM Loop 1: departure from EIFJ at 15:45

PM Loop 2: departure 17:00 from EIFJ

Upon request, families can have a school bus chartered for the entire school year via a service provider:

- Fee of 800,000 yen per month to be shared between families

- Valid all year round for 52 weeks (36 weeks of regular classes, and 16 weeks of holiday schools), Monday to Friday, morning and evening

- Passenger ages 2 to 15

- Experienced drivers

- Secured vehicle with seat belts: Alphard (7 seats) or Hiace (10 seats)

- Journey time: approx. 45 minutes (using the highway)

- Attendant present for young passengers

  • School bus attendants:
  • School bus attendant: 2,100 yen per trip
  • Monthly commuting allowance : 15,000 yen
  • Working hours: in the morning from around 7.00 a.m. to 8.30 a.m., at the end of the day from 5 p.m. to 6.45 p.m. approximately (from 4 pm to 6:30 pm for the Alpha route)
  • Commitment for a minimum of 3 months
  • Morning and/or evening service
  • Work during school holidays, too
  • Possession of a work visa is required
  • Attendants can use the co-working space and the assistants' room during the day if needed (free internet access, equipped kitchen etc.). Working time allow attendants, in between morning and evening services, to reach their school on time should they study, or their possible other working place.

School Bus Regulations

  • Do not damage the school bus
  • Do not throw away papers or other rubbish
  • Limit snacks
  • For safety reasons, sit correctly during the entire trip, without putting your feet on the seats
  • Respect other passengers, bus driver and attendant
  • Be polite to others
  • Do not shout and push each other
  • An emergency stop to go to the toilet is possible, however passengers must make sure to go to the toilet before the ride starts, and should not stop the bus in order to buy snack in a store
  • Do not forget your belongings before getting on the bus: water bottle, school bag, jacket, etc.
